Lifework Doula Support

Tend Your Hearth: Support for the Life You’re Already Holding

Blending hands-on clinical care with the emotional support of a doula.

Life is busy, messy, and overwhelming at times—and the to-do list never ends. A Lifework Doula provides hands-on support, emotional presence, and gentle accountability to help you tackle projects, organize your space, and reclaim breathing room in your daily life.

Think of it as a blend of organizer, household helper, doula, and friend-auntie energy—all rolled into one.

Life doesn’t come with a pause button. Responsibilities pile up, to-do lists grow, and somehow we’re expected to carry the mental load, manage the household, nurture relationships, and still feel like ourselves. That’s where a Lifework Doula comes in.

A Lifework Doula provides:

  • Hands-on support for projects around your home (nursery, pantry, play areas, closets, yards, general to-do lists)

  • Emotional presence to help process overwhelm, transitions, or shifts in identity

  • Accountability & executive function support to keep tasks moving without judgment

  • Flexibility for flow—anchoring one main project while allowing for spontaneous “bop from thing to thing” moments

  • Modeling rest, rituals, and healthy pacing so progress doesn’t feel exhausting

Think of it as part professional organizer, part household manager, part doula, part friend-auntie—someone who shows up fully to hold the space and help you reclaim breathing room in your life.

Who is this for?

  • Parents juggling childcare, household responsibilities, and the invisible mental load

  • Neurodivergent folks seeking flexible, hands-on support for executive function and project completion

  • Anyone who wants a companion to help them feel caught up, grounded, and resourced again

Michele James-Parham, midwife, therapist & abortion chaplain

“Jess was phenomenal to work with when cleaning and straightening up a room my family wanted to reclaim in our home. She wasn’t afraid to get dirty, keep pushing, or delegate tasks to each of us. With care, she handled the job and all of my family’s clashing neurospiciness. I look forward to having her assistance with our next project: our kitchen!”

How It Works:

Why a Lifework Doula?

While traditional organizers or household managers focus on tasks, and life coaches often focus on abstract goals, a Lifework Doula blends action + presence + care. It’s the support you didn’t realize you needed: someone who can tackle projects with you, help untangle mental clutter, and hold space for rest, processing, and clarity—all in one package.
